I have been thinking of ways that I can use pod casting in my room and will try next year to use it in my classroom as a tool to help the children with their letter sounds. I think this will help them in making the sounds correctly if they can hear themselves making the letter sounds. Plus this will have more meaning to them if they are taking an active part in the process.

I just read about pod casting and this also sounds like a great learning tool. I can see how it could be used in the classroom. When my daughter was in second grade they wrote stories and then did a pod cast. This was a lot of fun for her and she enjoyed sharing it with me. I now have to think of ways to use it in my classroom.

I recently used a Flip Video camera to take clips of students for my PSA group. This gave me the idea to use it with my kindergarten class to do a weather report for our weather unit. I will do the video taping since they are so young but maybe by the end of the year they would be able to help make a video for the classroom. I can see how this could be a great tool to use for the classroom.
